We are thrilled to share the 2030 vision for Boyne Mountain. We developed five pillars to lead us through the next decade. Projects currently underway include national-level attractions, new technology and lift innovations, lodging upgrades, green initiatives, and more. Not just our next chapter, but our next RENAISSANCE.

Elevating our resort is a multi-step process. First Steps

RFID Installation

We are thrilled to announce the addition of RFID technology for winter 2021/22 with all-new gates recently added to Disciples 8, Boyneland, Estelle's Way, and Superbowl.

Chalet Edelweiss

Newly arriving as a contemporary alpine escape, Chalet Edelweiss opened in February 2022.

SkyBridge Michigan

The conceptual drawing of the world’s longest timber-towered suspension bridge at Boyne Mountain Resort, SkyBridge Michigan, that opened on October 15, 2022.

Solar Array

A solar array installation by a CMS Energy subsidiary at Boyne Mountain Resort is fully operational.

Short-Term

Midwest's First 8-Place Chairlift

Replacing Disciples I and II, this high-speed eight place, Disciples 8, lift is sure to transform access at a super high speed. D8 opened in December 2022.

Chairlift Upgrades

In addition to Disciples 8, we replaced Boyneland with a 4-place fixed grip, Superbowl with a 3-place fixed grip, and the carpets with covered conveyors. All open in winter 23/24.

Clock Tower Lodge

A complete renovation of this historic lodge includes a décor update to the lobby area, refurbished desk space, café, and highly curated check-in experience.

Airport Enhancement

Recognizing the uniqueness of having a runway at the base of our slopes has us focused on enhancements that will make your fly-in/fly-out experience soar.

Mid-Term

Snowmaking Upgrades

Continuous innovation in our snowmaking system year-over-year is a high priority.

More Lift Enhancements

Next on the list is the Mountain Express. This high-speed first-ever six-place is a top priority for an upgrade to continue to support SkyBridge Michigan and our snowsports enthusiasts.

Deer Lake + Beach House

We have dreams of Lake Como charm with Italian-inspired dishes served indoors and out. Perhaps a beautifully constructed pavilion, too!

Sports Complex Expansion

Bringing more ways to play to our field of dreams was a goal since the inception of our sports field complex.

Long-Term

Golf Course Upgrades

Fine-tuning perfection is one of our favorite pastimes. Upgrades and hole redesign work is in scope for The Alpine and Monument.

Pearson Farmhouse

Possibly the next unique wedding venue or the perfect ski museum, restoring this victorian home made the cut.

Music Venue

Music is always on our minds. It's time to place our need for melodies on an established stage.
